Questions

What do I need to send?

For cloning, send the original module and the replacement. Both must have the same part number or a compatible one. For repair, send only the faulty module.

Will the car need coding after cloning?

A correct 1:1 clone is normally plug and play. Some vehicles still need a basic adaptation, and we tell you if yours does.

Can you clone a module that does not power up?

Often yes. We can usually read the memory directly from the board. If the data is damaged, we tell you before charging for further work.

Do you supply replacement modules?

No. You supply the replacement unit, so you stay in control of the part and its price.

Which modules count as ECU, TCU and BCM?

ECU is the engine control unit, TCU is the transmission control unit and BCM is the body control module. The table above shows what we transfer for each.

Is my immobiliser data kept safe?

Data is used only to complete your order and is not shared. Ask us if you want your files deleted after the job.
