Who we are

These terms apply to services supplied by KM Motors, trading address to confirm, Blackburn ("we", "us"). You can contact us at info@km-motors.co.uk or on 07379 179460.

Your order

You place an order when you complete checkout and payment is confirmed. We send an order number by email or show it on the confirmation page. The contract starts when payment is confirmed.

You must give accurate vehicle details, part numbers and fault descriptions. If the module we receive does not match the order, we contact you before doing any work and may offer a different service or a refund.

Lawful use and the declaration

Every order includes a declaration that you own the vehicle or module, or are authorised by the owner, and that the work is for lawful use. We do not alter mileage, remove or disable emissions equipment, or conceal crash damage. We may cancel and refund any order that we reasonably believe breaks this declaration.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling. Payment is taken in full at checkout through Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

Sending modules

You are responsible for packing the module safely and sending it by a tracked service. We are responsible for the module from the moment it is signed for at our workshop until it is handed to the carrier for return.

Our work

We carry out the work with reasonable care and skill. Some faults cannot be repaired, and some data cannot be recovered from damaged memory. If we cannot complete the work, we tell you and explain the options, including a refund under our cancellation policy.

Modules must be fitted, coded or adapted correctly after return. We are not responsible for faults caused by incorrect fitting or by other parts of the vehicle.

Your rights

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

Uncollected modules

If we cannot return a module because the address is wrong or the parcel comes back to us, we contact you. Modules not collected or claimed within 90 days of our last contact may be disposed of after written notice.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
