SRS Airbag Modules
After a deployment or a crash event, the airbag control module stores crash data and stops working.
We reset the stored crash data on the bench, or repair the module, and post it back.
Questions
Is a crash data reset safe?
Resetting the module returns it to the state it was in before the crash event. Every other part of the airbag system that deployed or was damaged must still be replaced by a qualified technician.
Do I still need to replace the airbags and pretensioners?
Yes. Any airbag, seat belt pretensioner or sensor that deployed must be replaced. We reset the control module only.
Can you reset a module so a car can be sold without declaring damage?
No. We do not hide crash damage. The work is for vehicles that are being properly repaired.
Which makes do you cover?
Most makes, including the ones listed above. If yours is not listed, send a photo of the module label through the quote form.
Will the airbag light go out after fitting?
Once all deployed parts are replaced and the module is fitted, the light should clear. Some vehicles need the fault memory cleared with a diagnostic tool.
How do I remove the module safely?
Disconnect the battery and wait at least ten minutes before unplugging any airbag component. If you are not sure, ask a garage to remove it.

Post the module
Pack the module in an antistatic bag with bubble wrap, write your order number inside the box and send it tracked to our Blackburn workshop.
Bench work
We read the crash data, reset or repair the module and bench check it before return.
Return
We post the module back tracked and add the tracking number to your order page.
